Nate Hyman
Owner. Gunsmith. Combat Veteran.
Nate proudly served in the United States Army during the Global War on Terrorism, completing multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Like many veterans, transitioning back to civilian life came with its challenges—but also with opportunity.
Guided by his lifelong respect for firearms as tools and instruments of precision, Nate used his VA education benefits to attend the Modern Gun School’s Gunsmithing Academy, turning passion into profession.
Today, Nate serves as a Federal Firefighter for the Department of Veterans Affairs while continuing to build his vision.
In 2025, he founded First Capital Precision Gunsmithing from the ground up—investing every dollar back into the business, driven by craftsmanship, discipline, and attention to detail forged through military service.
